Getting into Bhutan

Getting into Bhutan is only via paid trip to Bhutan with an authorized and licensed Tour Agent like us. Advancing with Visa Formalities and valid Passport (Minimum of 6 month from date of Expiry) is a must for visitors. Visa should be applied 30 days in advance on the actual day of entry to country, and point to be noted here is Visa on arrival is not available. Entry to Bhutan could be made either of two:

  1. Via Flight
    Bhutan is connected with International Flights from Bangkok, Singapore, India, Nepal and Bangladesh. Taking the flight mode, you shall be directly entering to Paro International Airport which is an hour drive from Capital City of Bhutan. In such case, we as your travel agent, can help you in availing Air Ticket provided seat availability and air-fare remitted to us.
  2. Via Road
    It may also be convenient for you to enter via southern Borders by Road transport. Entry point are available from Samdrup Jongkhar from South East, Gelephu from Central South & Phuntsholing from Western South. In desirable ways, Indian Airport of Bagdogra is nearly 3 hour drive from Phuntsholing and 3-4 Hours drive between Samdrup Jongkhar & Airport at Gawahati, Assam.
    Point to be Noted: Tourism Policy of Bhutan states that a Traveler can only either Enter or Depart from Road, the other one must by via Air Transport.
